MRPORTER.COM and THE OUTNET Choose Marin Software to Build Cross-Channel View of Online Advertising Profitability

Two The NET-A-PORTER Group Brands Turn to Leading Cross-Channel Performance Advertising Platform to Optimize True Profitability From Biddable Media Globally

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 09/02/14 -- Marin Software (NYSE: MRIN), provider of a leading cross-channel digital marketing platform for advertisers and agencies, today announces that MR PORTER and THE OUTNET, leading global fashion brands in The NET-A-PORTER Group, have chosen to work with its platform to optimize search, social and display campaigns globally. The fashion retailers will use the platform to get a view of profitability across search, social and display campaigns and optimize towards true profitability in 170 countries.

MR PORTER and THE OUTNET want to build a cross-channel view of profitability globally. Their aim is to pull data together from different search, social and display platforms including Adobe Omniture, Doubleclick, Fusepump and different agency tools to build a full view of global performance including data from international search engines such as Baidu. This global view of online advertising profitability will save time and deliver more accurate data globally for MR PORTER and THE OUTNET.

MR PORTER and THE OUTNET have partnered with Marin Software, to take advantage of their open platform and build an innovative new marketing technology stack to report on and optimize online advertising profitability across search, social and display campaigns globally. The fact that Marin Software can integrate seamlessly with other platforms means they don't need to change their existing technology platforms. Using the Marin Software platform also enables the fashion retailers to build a global view of performance including performance on international search engines like Baidu.

Sabah Naqushbandi, Head of Marketing at MR PORTER: "We believe more media will become biddable including traditionally offline channels such as TV, outdoor and radio. By using a tool like Marin at the center of our biddable media technology architecture, we are future proofing and building a centralized way to manage and optimize campaigns across more advertising channels in the future. This way MR PORTER's growth can accelerate through new biddable channels as they evolve."

Andres Sosa, Sales and Marketing Director at THE OUTNET: "Being able to optimize across channels to true profitability through Marin Software enables us to be very nimble and accelerate growth as an organization, reacting to changes in seasonality and customer lifetime value quickly. This will have a material impact on the future commercial growth of the business."

Jon Myers, VP & Managing Director - EMEA, at Marin Software: "We're excited to be working with innovative global brands like MRPORTER.COM and THE OUTNET. They are building an innovative technology setup that will deliver further immediate growth for them and enable additional growth in the future as they build broader biddable media campaigns. Building this without the need to completely reengineer their marketing technology stack should enable an immediate acceleration in their growth as global brands."
